We had the good fortune of connecting with John Burns and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi John, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Quality. I am a plastic surgeon. The success of my brand is directly related to the quality of my outcomes. Delivering consistent, safe, world class results for each of my patients is the most important factor behind my success.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. I do cosmetic surgery of the face, breast, and body. In addition to board certification I am also fellowship trained in laser surgery. I am President of the nations’ largest private practice plastic surgery group, Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute. I am also the Medical Director for the EpiCentre Skin Care and Laser Center; North Texas’ Premier Medical Spa. Our world class staff and facilities set us apart. We are dedicated to delivering the highest quality, safe, cosmetic plastic surgery to our patients who come from all over the world for our services. We have a all-in-one practice where the care is delivered in a safe and caring environment. Becoming a board certified plastic surgeon requires many years of training including college, medical school, Internship, residency, and fellowship training: about 16 years. After formal training the challenge is primarily in staying on top of our training so that I can deliver the latest in techniques and technology. I’ve learned that there are no short cuts to hard work. The surgical results I can deliver are what sets me apart. At Dallas Plastic Surgery our brand is one of excellent, consistency, and safety.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Dallas is known for it’s sports; especially football. I’d take them to see my alma matter high school team, Highland Park Scots who are one of the most successful high school football programs in Texas. I’d also check out the Dallas Cowboys and the world famous “Jerry Dome” at AT&T Stadium with over 100,000 capacity and a 60 yard video screen. The Cowboys are the world’s most valuable sports franchise. We could also take in a basketball game, Dallas Maverick’s, NHL hockey game, Dallas Stars, MLS soccer, FC Dallas, or MLB baseball, Texas Rangers. Local NCAA college programs include SMU, TCU, North Texas, among others. In the fall, the nation’s largest Texas’ State Fair comes to town at Fair Park Highlighted the the Red River Rivalry football game between Texas and Oklahoma.
