We had the good fortune of connecting with Jill Rasco and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jill, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
It was something that came to me naturally! As a child I loved taking photographs. It evolved as I grew into an adult!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I have always enjoyed capturing people! I started out shooting 35mm and when digital came into play it was so thrilling!. I am most proud of the path I chose, my photographs come from the heart and always have! I love when a client can’t believe it’s them!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My studio is located in downtown Dallas. There are so many wonderful places to visit. For example, Dallas Pinup! A place where everyone is welcome and are sure to find something they like! If you’re looking for good food, drink and atmosphere I suggest Lola’s Trailer Park in Fort Worth!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I definitely would like to thank all who have posed for me over the years, it has made me who I am today!
