We had the good fortune of connecting with JessRenee Crane and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi JessRenee, what are you inspired by?

My biggest inspiration are my daughters, my mom, my sister and women who have dreams and aspirations for more. They are the reasons I get up every morning put my 2 feet on the ground, push through and grind hard everyday.

Setting an example and laying Out a solid blue print for daughters of what it looks like to have a dream and see it through motivates me not only to be the best version of myself but to do my best to make this work! It’s very important my daughters see their mom succeed in a world where minority women aren’t supposed to start a small business, gain financial freedom, become independent and thrive as an entrepreneur.

My entire life I’ve faced some type of adversity or obstacles. My family, my friends and the woman around can all say with confidence, “Jess is fighter she just doesn’t give up”

Leaving my nursing career after 13 years in the medical field to pursue a dream was by far one of the most challenging and scary decisions I’ve ever made. I couldn’t fail , giving up wasn’t an option they were all watching.

My mother, my daughters, my closest friends and every woman looking for a role model. “If she can do it, so can I”, that’s what it’s all about!

There is no greater way to impact another individuals life than to significantly inspire them, “The success of every woman should be the inspiration to another. We should raise each other up. Make sure you’re very courageous: be strong, be extremely kind, and above all be humble.” – Serena Williams

I believe that the women in our lives play a huge role in creating inspiration for oneself. By inspiring one another, connecting with, and encouraging other women they can do the same.

My Lord and Savor has Blessed me with this opportunity and it changed my life, Nothing In the world happens by accident. I believe our lives and  our paths are all predestined. God gives us all gifts it’s our great responsibility to put those gifts to work!

I know I am exactly where I am supposed to be. Aspiring to be Lash Artist may not seem like the right career change to others. “What is she thinking, she had such a bright future In nursing”, I can’t even begin to tell you how many times I’ve heard this over the past year. But if you were to ask any of my clients they’d tell you , they are glad I’m here to do their lashes and even more happy I chose this path!

It’s my passion to make a difference, building up women, sowing wisdom, love and confidence is like nothing I’ve ever experienced! Doing their lashes is the hook, reminding them of how beautiful, valuable, and amazing they all are is the real prize!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?

I’m a Lash Artist here in the DFW area. I recently left a career in the medical field to pursue a passion for building up, encouraging, and reminding women ALL WOMEN of their beauty and value! I strive to become a great leader, someone my clients can come to feel safe, loved, appreciated and welcomed!

There has been so many challenges, building my brand staying true to myself and my convictions. It’s truly not about the money for me, it’s more about paving the way for those watching and coming behind me!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

Being fairly new to DFW myself, I’ve faced the Challenges of the pandemic and the Winter freeze, this unfortunately has put a small damper on my social outings. But I must say my favorite place to spend time is in Bishop Arts, it’s a whole vibe the food the music the shopping all amazing! Paradiso, the food the drinks and the whole esthetics is great! Downtown Dallas the farmers market another one of my favorite spots the chill, explore and grab a bite.

Id invite you to  a trip down south to a little hole in the wall, a well kept secret in Mansfield’s called Tacos El Guero… mmmmmmmmmm! The Tacos, Menudo and Horchata oh my! Let me not for get Tacos Oasis this place is amazing tacos are to die for!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
