We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessica Jennings and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jessica, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I think the the most important factor behind POP! Fort Worth’s success and the success of this brand is the ability to create relationships with customer. I really strive to connect with my clients, and form a relationship with them. Knowing a bit more about them really helps to create the desired look of an event. I think I am really approachable, and the ability to work well with others has promoted this business so much!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
POP! Fort Worth got started during COVID. My best friend and I saw a huge need to spread light and cheer throughout our city. When parties were coming to a halt, we found a way to provide some joy for drive by celebrations. When things began to reopen and get going again, POP! really took off. We were booked out months in advance, when we were just a few days old. There was such a need for this in our city! As we would go do installs, we would chat and really get to know our clients. I think that natural desire to relate to our customers, helped form our reputation of being a team of people you’d want to work with. She has since moved to a different city, but POP! has carried on, if not taken off even more since thenI’ve learned there are some people who are going to try to put you down, and say bad things about your business and you have to realize that means nothing about you personally, it speaks volumes about them. POP! might not be everyone’s cup of tea, and that’s ok. I still know at the end of every day, I am doing my very best and to be my kindest, most authentic self. I’ve learned that staying true to who you are and what you believe in brings about the clients and customers I want to work with.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
As a mom of three littles, kid friendly places are a must. We have really been loving Wild Acre Brewery! They have multiple play areas for the littles, and the beer/pretzel and beer cheese make it much better! Heim BBQ on the River is another must stop for. The mac and cheese and spicy margs on the patio are what patio weather dreams are made of. If no kiddos are involved, I love going down to Mule Alley and sitting at The Drover. Walk on over to Provender Hall for dinner, stop at Second Rodeo for some live music- Fort Worth perfection.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to my family, who are my biggest cheerleaders and support system.
