We had the good fortune of connecting with Jennifer Armstrong L.E. and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jennifer, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The thought process behind starting Raja Botanicals and Girl Talk Beauty Bar started 11 years ago when i became a Esthetician. I started working at a organic day spa as a lead Esthetician where i realized i wanted to open my own spa. I had a desire to help others and i wanted to do it my way. It took me about two years of dreaming before i took that leap of faith and started both my brands. Being able to do what i love everyday while helping others was my goal.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Girl Talk Beauty Bar is my creative studio where we specialize in luxury lash extensions and corrective skincare treatments. We also carry my line Raja Botanicals a simple yet effective line that is plant based and power packed with skin healing ingridents. We have a mission to enhance your natural beauty. We talk about what You want before any services is done. And most of all when you leave Girl Talk your confidence will be elevated . That is what sets us apart! Im most proud of the growth of my brands, and im excited to see where we will be next year. I want to reach more indivinduals with skincare concerns to treat and teach them how to love there own skin again.
Getting to where i am today took alot of hard work and long nights, it wasn’t easy. I worked six days a week in the studio
I work seven days a week on the back end. So my biggest thing that got me where i am is being consistent and never giving up.
One thing i’ve learned along this journey is you never lose, it’s always a lesson in everything that happens.
I want the world to know me and the amazing brands i created to help others love the skin they have with with either our luxury corrective skincare treatments or our affordable products.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Let’s see, i would start off grabbing breakfast from Tony Gs. If it’s a girls day out we have to stop by The Wax Snob studios for a Vsteam, Vajacial and Brazilian they are the best wax bar in town!
After a little shopping at a few malls we have to grab dinner from The jerk shack .
Next day we would do a brunch at home with food from All things brunch & bundt’s they are the best. After i would love a massage at Aisha Total body spa for the best massage ever.
Nights out are best spent at Amore Cafe hookah and drinks with the best vibes.
