Meet Jeffrey Thomas | Photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeffrey Thomas and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jeffrey, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
My photography company is not necessary aimed at helping the community, its aimed at helping a few people at a time. I really have a drive to help others see themselves in a better light. I want them to see how beautiful you really are and not what you THINK you see in the mirror. I guess my social impact is changing the way people see themselves.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Talk about a loaded questions! I can talk about this for HOURS! Seriously…. put me on a podcast!!
My art is photography in general and people photography in specific. Boudoir and Portrait are my specialties.
I was self-taught for EVERYTHING. It was not easy, it was difficult and EXPENSIVE! But all the important things are difficult!
You overcome challenges by facing them head on! Never run. Never give up. You will fail… but get up and go again with the knowledge you learned from failing! Life is about adapting.
Lessons?? How about “Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line!” But really… There was a concept my father taught me… Everytime you were faced with a business decision, you did not know if you needed to buy this thing or invest in this ad, ask yourself; “Does it make the racecar faster?” It is a concept to help you maintain focus on your company’s goal! A racing team’s goal is a fast racecar. My goal is to make people have a more positive view on themselves. So when I was faced with company decisions, I always asked myself “does it make the racecar go faster?” It never fails to help me!
I want the world to know that you are beautiful and I am here to prove it!!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The Stockyards in Fort Worth! It is VERY tourist-e but is very fun to go and do things! Lots of great picture worthy spots there and great food! Not to mention shopping!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Yes! My father, Bob Thomas! My father was VERY instrumental to molding my morals and values. He was very instant on making me have a positive outlook on myself. I thought it was normal… but people have a very negative view on themselves. I want to improve that! Maybe I cant change the world, but I can improve my little corner of it.
