We had the good fortune of connecting with JD Leonard and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi JD, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
Within our Mute Mogul Media Group brand – thru Mute Mogul TV – we want to be a popular source of education and entertainment. We are looking to produce shows for various industries such as fitness, culinary, geography and more. We currently house a vlog series – “Absolutely Positively with Deni Kay” – that provides “inspiration, encouragement & motivation” to the viewers, which allows for the audience to have one defined word broken down in to a: quote and “vibe” that incorporates music surrounding the topic word of the episode. Our mission for “APWDK” is to spread this content globally – thru translation – in order to reach a mass international capacity.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I create visual content for different branding needs because every business needs some kind of marketing and advertising source to keep their brands engaged on the internet as well as social media platforms. I was started as a hobby of just creating little pieces of visual art but then I figured that the creativity that I was producing made sense, in regards to seeing how much impact a business could have with what I was designing. The lessons that I learned along the way were/are to never uncut yourself as you’ve studied so much to get exactly where you are growing to. My brand is for EVERY person that has an idea, goal and expansive motives in their lives.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take my good friend to eat at a couple of good steakhouses, elegant seafood & quaint breakfast spots; while they are in town. If we are looking for a few drinks, we’d more than likely go to a good jazz spot or catch some comedy shows. I definitely would take my good friend to a few art & historic museums for some educational fundamentals. And being a fan, I’d definitely take my good friend to catch a Mavs game, because that’s what a good friend would do.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to give a big shout out to my wife – Veronica Leonard for ALL of the love & support she provides and has provided to me on my journey. I would also like to thank Stephanie Ferguson for reaching out and seeing my hard work and dedication as something to be commended as well as Kayla D. Lucas for being a steadfast source of keeping the Mute Mogul Media Group brand growing.
