We had the good fortune of connecting with Jazzten Feagins and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jazzten, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I know what kind of future i want for kids. I know the way i want the generations to live that come after me. Boski Clothing is not just some clothes to wear. There’s a bigger picture to see. Boski means divine, and there’s divinity in just being who you are.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Music has always been a part of my personality. For many years when i was younger i would make songs and pretend i had to perform. I come from a talented family, and after years of signs from the universe that were telling me to take music serious, i decided it was time. College was an achievement that i felt was necessary because i was a first generation. But once i dropped out, i knew there was a much larger purpose for me to fill. I’m here to inspire a generation. Like most things in life, there is good and bad, easy and hard, but understanding that there is a reason and greater purpose behind it all makes it worth the journey.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would be in the Grand Canyon eating chicken Alfredo off of a cliff. My family would be with me, and i would be ready to sky-dive, or pretty much do anything thrill seeking.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
God deserves the highest appreciation, he’s been making this all possible. My mom is also someone who’s supported my dreams and always has been a good source for advice and love. Overall i’m big on family, loyalty means family, and i’ll always have them as motivation to go harder. I like to appreciate each situation for what it was rather it was good or bad, there’s always something that could be learned.
