We had the good fortune of connecting with Jazzlyn Ifeji Pryor and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jazzlyn, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Faith without works is dead, was my whole thought process. I knew that the Most High was going to see me through my vision, but I also knew that the risk (work) was necessary in order to “live,” my vision.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart from others is how relatable I am to all walks of life. I love the fact that I service all cultures of people. I’m most proud of being successful in business, steadily growing, and looking to scale even bigger. I must add a major point, and that is the feedback that I receive from the level of service I provide at Abiding Artistry, which is astounding.
The path was not easy but I overcame it by the grace of God. After esthetician school, I continued to invest in myself by getting certifications in the target areas of esthetics that I was interested in. Secondly, acquiring the right talent to help Abiding Artistry grow to the next level helped overcome many challenges!
I have personally learned a number of lessons along this journey of business. However there are three that I keep very close to me and the are commitment, loyalty, and perseverance.
I would like the world to know that Abiding Artistry strives to enhance beauty fulfillment and confidence with every customer. Anticipating a memorable experience that keeps our customers talking about every detail of each: service, skin care products, advanced training courses, affiliates, partners, and career opportunities.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Once my bestie arrives in Dallas, we’re immediately heading over to Southern Classic Daiquiri Factory to grab some buffalo wings and a daiquiri. Then head to Legacy West to walk around for a bit. Now if we get a little hungry again, we’ll go to North Italia or Earls Kitchen Bar. Lastly, we’re speeding to the house for a nap.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shoutout my support system! Specifically, my mama! She is God sent. Had it not been for her, helping me with my children and business, there would be no Abiding Artistry. So thank you and I love you!
