We had the good fortune of connecting with Jaden Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jaden, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
Learning how to balance everything over time is something that I have not mastered but have learned to be patient and embrace the imbalance. My life has changed a lot already with getting married last year and then having our first baby. I think of it as “there is no balance so just embrace the imbalance.” It makes life easier and I just address every situation with priority, so at the end of the day everything will get done.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart from others is my passion for serving Jesus Christ. In everything I do, I do it as if I’m serving the Lord so my gifts and services are outstanding. I’ve always been a leader and my ability to lead has brought me great skills in business. It has not always been an easy journey but with the help of the Lord and my family, I’ve been getting better in all of my crafts as the years go on. Some of the things I’ve learned along the way is that failure comes with success. If you’re not failing, you have nothing to learn from and you won’t succeed. I want the world to know that I’m a mom and wife. I love my family and I want my kids to see their parents do big things! My husband and I want to pass down our business to our children and keep it going. We have made a lot of changes over time and even wanted to quit at times but with prayer and trusting God, we’re still going. Our brand is Christian based and black owned. We love everyone and thank everyone for their support.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
On a Sunday I would go to the biscuit bar for breakfast or brunch. For lunch I would go to Olive Garden
And for dinner I would go to salata
To hangout I would go to round1 at the mall
On a Monday I would go to OldWsst cafe for breakfast
For lunch I would go to Texas Roadhouse
For dinner I would go to the coyote drive inn movie theater and eat there and enjoy a movie.
On Tuesday I would go to the original pancake house for breakfast
For dinner I would go to taco Tuesday and line dance night at cherry moon grill.
On Wednesday I would go to 360 brunch for brunch
For dinner I would go to Gloria’s
On Thursday I would go to Whataburger for breakfast
Later that day I would go to the Dallas aquarium and to the museum of illusion
On Friday I would go to seventh street and try different restaurants and different stores during the day and then check out a sports game that evening.
On Saturday I would go to liberty park and feed the ducks and fish
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
A big shout out to My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, my husband Solomon Williams, and my son Solomon Jr.!
