We had the good fortune of connecting with Ifakorede Imoba and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ifakorede, what role has risk played in your life or career?
“I’m in love with love, so I’m always taking risks! I think it’s a part of love, taking risks.”

I believe we are all taking risks daily whether we are aware of it or not. When you meet a new love interest or even start a new job there’s always risk involved, but most people allow fear to overtake them. So, it’s stops them from accomplishing or doing a lot of things that they’ve never done before.

When I was younger, I took risks all the time that could’ve landed me in a lot or trouble, or dead. In 2010 I lost my brother and my mother 2 months apart from each other and I stopped living for just a second. I allowed my emotions and grief get the best of me. Once I came out of that chapter in my life my risks got greater. I finally started to live life and taking major risks made me the person that I am today. I’ve traveled the world alone and have never thought about the what ifs, but I was always aware. I’ve lost family and friends from taking the risk and standing up for what I believe to be is right when it comes down to the safety of women and children being abused and manipulated.

I took a risk on stepping away from modern medicine to learn how to heal myself. The rewards from taking risks are greater than I ever imagined. I was able to evolve with every risk I took. Every risk I take brings me more opportunity and more joy and room in my life for me to be grateful and in love.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Infinite Cre8ions ultimate goal is to help assist one on their healing journey. I’ve learned over the years that a lot of our ailments start with the emotions and the things that have been held on from our individual past. Through one-on-one consultations we’re able to sit with people and help them with their emotional management. We offer healing energy sessions to help clear out residue from the past, and we offer herbal consultations as well for customized packages. We have an Apothecary located in Arlington that has over 300 loose herbs sold by the ounce. There are sell teas, tinctures, herbal health packages to keep your immune system boosted along with body butters and oils. All of the products are made in store in small batches with love. We’re not open on a daily to the public but in the next month will be ready to open our doors fulltime. For now, you can always schedule an appointment to visit the store!

The thing that makes me the proudest is when my clients express to me how they are able to sleep better at night after having a session with me, or how the teas have gotten their hormones back in balance and they now have a regular cycle after years of discomfort. There’s a certain beauty in seeing others healing and it’s even more rewarding to see people take control of their own lifestyle and want better for themselves and their loved ones.

I love my healing journey and it’s been a consistent journey for me since 2013 and it’s turned into me helping others along the way. It’s been fairly easy for me cause every client or issue I approach I make sure I keep an image of a mirror up for my own reflection, so in reality we’re really helping each other on a vibrational level. I once suffered from Bells Palsy and Trigeminal Neuralgia so, I had to re-learn my body and pay attention to what was working for me. Everything that I create for others was first created for me and yes I consume my own products daily and as a result I’ve lost over 100 pounds and I make it a point to tell myself to be grateful for the healing that my body is experiencing daily. So when people come to me I can relate to them and I think it’s appreciated more when you’ve overcame an ailment or a dis-ease and that takes patience and faith in knowing you are already healed!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Since we’ve been in a pandemic my outings have been at stand still, but I love visiting Spiral Diner in Fort Worth they have the best vegan nachos. I love being outdoors and love the peace and stillness of the water. So, I would rent a boat and go out on the lake or find outdoor activities to do. Maybe cook up a nice meal at home and use that time to sit and enjoy each other’s company and just catch up on laughs.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes, my children and husband are my biggest supporters, and they do a great job of reminding me of how great I am! I would like to also mention Qiana Arnold with Free Spirit Doulas and Benisha Jones at Introducing Me they have been beautiful sparks in my NOW. Both of these women have opened up so many opportunities for me to connect more with people on a healing level and are always finding ways to help make me greater in my field!
