We had the good fortune of connecting with Hannah Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Hannah, how do you think about risk?
To me, I see risk as an opportunity. Any chance that I’m presented with a risk, I’m excited and nervous at the same time. Experiencing that feeling helps me understand that something new and unchartered is on the horizon. Anything new is always uncomfortable, but I’ve learned that being uncomfortable for a period of time is usually the first sign that I’m on the way to positive growth and change!

I truly think that most of the good things in my life, and certainly my career, have come from taking a risk. Marriage, pregnancy, new cities, relationships, friendships. I try to familiarize myself with the sensation of risk, excitement, fear – validate myself for feeling uncomfortable in the face of uncertainty – and then push forward.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Currently, I’m the Lead Physician Assistant and Clinical Operations Manager for Clinic Concierge here in Houston! Our specialty is top-tier in-home medical care. We provide concierge sick visits (for adults and kiddos), wellness blood panels, IV hydration, weight loss management, and aesthetics treatments – just to name a few. All from the comfort of your home! We have locations in Houston, Austin, Dallas, and Fort Worth.

At Clinic Concierge, our focus is on delivering unparalleled bedside manner through our highly skilled medical providers. We aim to make each visit as pleasant, efficient, and informative as possible, always prioritizing the needs and preferences of our patients. We ensure that patients fully understand their treatment options and explore the root causes of their symptoms to offer effective solutions. We strive to provide a seamless experience that integrates smoothly into our patients’ busy lives, and this really makes us stand out!

I absolutely love my current role because it perfectly blends my passion for patient care with my enthusiasm for business development. As the Operations Manager, I thrive on cultivating relationships with local businesses, organizing engaging events, and boosting our presence in the community. This role not only lets me make a meaningful impact but also fuels my drive for strategic growth—all while contributing to the vibrant and dynamic spirit of Houston’s small-business community. It’s truly special!

Throughout my career, there were periods when I spent countless hours managing a heavy patient load. The journey of growing and learning in medicine is undoubtedly challenging! But I leaned on gracious mentors, supportive family, and lots of educational resources to navigate those demanding times! I always knew that I wanted to transition into a managerial role and explore a unique approach to medicine. I wanted to merge my interests in business management, healthcare, overall wellness, and aesthetics. The path wasn’t immediately clear, but I kept pushing through! I think it’s just so important to keep going, push through, take risks when they present themselves and try to say “yes” as much as possible!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
For a week in the city with a friend or family, I would make sure to visit some of my fave spots! Definitely would take a stroll through Memorial Park or bike along the M-K-T trail. We could stop at LaLa Land Coffee along the M-K-T and grab a small breakfast at the Mercantile Farmer’s Market! We could do a little shopping at some of my favorite boutiques – Hemline Woodway, Hemline City Centre, and the Shops in Highland Village! And I would make sure to visit some of my favorite restaurants too– B&B Butcher’s, Millie’s Kitchen & Cocktails, and Hando Sushi for sure! I also love catching a live show at White Oak Music Hall or Armadillo Palace! Oh and can’t forget a fun (and hard) workout at Barry’s Bootcamp.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes, such a huge shout out to the women in my life who listen, care, love, validate, and empower me! Our book clubs, group dinners, Saturday morning walks, and beach trips all keep me grounded and present. The women in my life help me to love myself more every day which allows me to be the best version of myself at work and home.

One of my biggest recommendations to anyone – young or old – is to invest time and effort into your relationships. It has been one of the biggest life-changers for me!
