Meet Garrick Hubbard | CEO TheBroadwayMedia

We had the good fortune of connecting with Garrick Hubbard and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Garrick, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My decision to start this business came from a genuine love for music and the creative process. I’ve always been drawn to the energy of the studio, the excitement of discovering new artists, and the opportunity to share that talent with a wider audience. With my background as a student of history, I’m fascinated by the idea of being part of the evolving story of the music industry and contributing to the culture being created today. For me, this business is not only about building professional relationships, but also about creating a meaningful life and leaving a lasting mark on something I truly care about.”

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My journey to where I am today has been built entirely on persistence, trial, and error. In the early days, I was reaching out to countless artists—so much so that Instagram would temporarily block me for sending too many messages. My goal was simple: spread the word about my vision, collaborate, and promote artists who deserved more recognition.
It started with a few collaborations and promotional posts, but as I networked, I connected with clothing designers, brand owners, and other creatives. A pivotal moment came when I met Miss Heidi J, who opened the door for me to work at BCE The Label Studio—a place where major artists like Key Glock, Yella Beezy, Gunna Meize, and many others have come through. This experience expanded my network and led me to hosting podcasts, conducting interviews, filming music videos, and organizing live events.
What sets my brand apart is my relentless drive to connect people and create opportunities—not just for myself, but for everyone I work with. I’m most proud of the relationships I’ve built and the platforms I’ve created for others to showcase their talents.
It hasn’t been easy. Every path comes with ups, downs, and obstacles, but I’ve learned that dedication, a clear mind, and genuine passion make the difference. I want the world to know that this is more than a business—it’s a commitment to building culture, making history in the music industry, and creating a life worth living through the art I love.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting Dallas for a week, I’d make sure they experienced the city’s flavor, culture, and nightlife from every angle.
We’d start with food—Dallas has one of the most underrated food scenes in the country. I’d take them to Pecan Lodge for legendary Texas BBQ, then mix it up with Velvet Taco for creative, late-night bites. For something upscale, we’d hit Monarch for the views and steaks, and I’d make sure we stopped by some local hidden gems like Fuel City Tacos or Invasion for unique flavors.
Music and nightlife would be at the heart of the trip. Depending on the week, we’d catch a concert at The Factory in Deep Ellum or the American Airlines Center. I’d also take them to smaller, intimate venues like The Kessler Theater for live performances. At night, we’d explore Deep Ellum’s bars and clubs, maybe hit Sidebar or Citizen for a high-energy vibe, and wrap up with some rooftop drinks at Sky Blossom or The Henry.
During the day, we’d explore Klyde Warren Park, visit the Dallas Museum of Art, and stroll through Bishop Arts District for shopping, coffee, and street art. I’d also make sure we stopped by AT&T Discovery District to see the massive media wall and interactive displays.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to give credit to the incredible team I’ve built. First, shout out to ApertureFilms 📹⚡️ for consistently capturing high-quality content and bringing it all together in a way that truly represents my vision. I also want to recognize my assistant, who is always by my side, supporting me through every step of the journey. Lastly, a huge shout out to, in my opinion, one of the best managers in Dallas—possibly in the entire state of Texas—Miss Heidi J. She believed in me, trusted my vision, and put me in rooms with the right people to help elevate my craft.
