We had the good fortune of connecting with Gargi Duggal and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gargi, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Diving in deep waters and learning how to swim to the coast is much harder than being saved by someone else. However, it develops strength, purpose, and experience. That is why it is crucial to take risks and expand your horizon. For me, risk taking has led to exceptional heights of success, new opportunities, and most importantly, I can freely explore my passion. I am proud to say that Gargi Productions, my media house, is the product of a major risk-taking in my life!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am the proud CEO of my media house, Gargi Productions. We specialize in digital media publications and are active on every notable platform! We believe in giving the best to the community and keeping everyone entertained with unique media productions. We focus on producing media inspired by real events and motivating others to follow their dreams. Our goal is to keep you enthralled by adding some fun in your virtual lives! You can find amazing digital content like, talk shows, music videos and short films.

It definitely was not an easy process to launch Gargi Productions, but I am so glad that I made the leap. We started our journey by hosting a New Year’s Eve event and gradually shifted towards digital content. It was difficult, because competition in this market is tough and everyone is watching your every move. However, with the help of my team and peers and the implementation of strategies, we overcame our challenges. I have learned that it is important to lay out a plan and to be prepared to run into last-minute problems. I want the world to know that I am dedicated to Gargi Productions and Gargi Productions is dedicated to releasing engaging content!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love DFW and have lived here for the past twenty years! After moving from India, the most I have lived in the US is in Dallas. This is my home now, and I love showcasing DFW and its vicinity in my music videos. I would take my BFF to Legacy West for some pleasant sit-down restaurants, Fort Worth Water Gardens for a heavenly and soothing waterfall experience, and the Dallas Arboretum, as it ranks as one of the top fourteenth gardens in the world. Lastly, I would end the day with a beautiful sunset boat ride on Pier 121. These would be my top places to check out, but Dallas has an endless amount of activities. It is a great place for my kids to grow up and the community is sensational!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I will always be grateful for my parents who recognized my passion at an early age and encouraged me to take it to the next level. It is never a cake walk for a daughter in India to pursue her true dreams, but my parents battled society to turn my ambitions into reality. I started dancing at the tender age of two, and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Indian Classical Dance for Bharatanatyam. My parents also aided me in my trek across the Himalayan Ranges at the age of five. Fast forward to the present: I am a successful entrepreneur, IT professional, and published model and dancer. All of the credit and hard work goes to my parents! They are my pillar of strength in difficult times and I definitely could not have made it this far without them.
