We had the good fortune of connecting with Gabriela Chavez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Gabriela, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process behind starting my school business began in 2015. I noticed that lash extensions were becoming extremely popular, extremely fast. I also noticed how people that were being serviced, were being serviced incorrectly. Which, made me realize that the artist were either not trained correctly or that the artist was not experienced at all. With those thoughts, I realized that I cared enough to want to open a school so that artists’ could be properly trained, and obtain their license as well.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
While other schools may only care about the dollar, I am proud to say that I genuinely care about lash artists doing the right thing and servicing clients correctly. We strive on flexibility, we understand that time and money are important to everyone so, we make sure that we are flexible to the students needs.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Downtown Dallas is my favorite area. There are so many restaurants and hang out spots that you can not go wrong when in downtown.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to thank all the students that believed, believe and continue to believe in the school. Without the students, there is no school. Without a school to properly train students, there would be many more uneducated lash artist, and many more customers receiving bad eyelash extensions.
