We had the good fortune of connecting with Freddy Davis III and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Freddy, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
What comes to mind is discipline, execution, connection, and love. All these attributes are a driving force for cultivation and stewardship. It’s not enough to simply say something, but to fulfill what it is; that’s set before you.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As an Artist, Mentor, Student, CEO of Spirit Led TV, and health care worker. I’m not where I necessarily want to be, but where I need to be. I used to be intimidated of this question. I’ve realized for some time now; God has instilled some great characteristics within me. Which is what sets me apart and sets me in part. You see; it’s not only about standing out, but also about encouraging and helping others to standout to their full potential and purpose also. Another trait that I encompass is heart and drive. God has made me strong. There’s a few things I’ve been through where I’ve been down; Jesus brought me back up and reaffirmed me in the mist of the chaos. So many lessons I want to share, but I’ve learned that discipline and obedience can save us from a world of heartache, pain, and distractions. My brand is all about “Creating to live and live to create.” Having a full time job and part time student has definitely kept my plate full, but great things are in store for Spirit Led TV and Freddy Davis III. Stay tuned! Just to be clear; my lifestyle is my faith concealed by a relationship, not a religion. Side note; NEW MUSIC VIDEO ‘WAVE” is OUT NOW!!! On Spirit Led TV! Check it out, like, comment, subscribe, and share. It will change your life and if it doesn’t at least you had something dope to watch. Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would definitely recommend hitting up Deep Elm! There is a great pizza place called “Serious Pizza;” however another great pizza place to Rotolos with the Big Apple deep dish style in Frisco, Tx. Hitting up the cake bar in Dallas. I don’t have a particular drink, but I drink responsibly. Sometime Klyde Warren park will have some sort of activities and plus it’s a really chill scenery. Chill at the lake; Grapevine, Lewisville, Little Elm beach. I’m not swimming in it, but I like overseeing the landscape of lakes and oceans. For the record i’m a great swimmer; don’t get it twisted. The improv is pretty dope also. I love to laugh! I’d definitely have to take them to Embassy City Church for Sunday service and if it just so happens to fall on a second Sunday; we’ll head to the Christian Lounge in Arlington, Tx. All are welcomed ; not just Christians. If COVID-19 wasn’t relevant I would suggest Six Flags.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Thank you Voyage Dallas for recognizing the hard work that’s being done in the dfw area. I wouldn’t be half the person without my Dad. As a kid I watched his work ethic and noticed he never quit when times got hard. Of course my two homies Sherm music and DJ Clynx! I remember times of breaking down and feeling discouraged about life. God placed them to speak life into me and to remind me there will be light at the end of the tunnel. They have been essential in my music production. I can’t leave out TransformUsMovement!! Non-profit organization in Arlington I’m proudly apart of where they help empower young adults in discovering their purpose in life and living it to the fullest! Shoutout to all my family and friends; from childhood to adulthood. Also my chamily (Church family) for all their support, shares, comments, and encouragement. S/O to Embassy City Church in Irving, Tx!! Tim Ross is the senior Pastor and he has bars! Such an awesome; not only multicultural, but multigenerational body of believers. The Lord has protected me from alot of things, allowed me to endure alot of things, and given me grace in the process or restoration from things I’ve chosen to do without His approval. We’re all a work in progress. Key word “progress.”
