Hi Felicia G., what is the most important factor behind your success?

The most important factor behind my success as a notary loan signing agent and the success of my brand Efficient Mobile Notaries LLC is faith and family. Faith that anything is possible with hard work and faith in God. As an African American single mom with 2 children, and the first in my immediate family to go to college and start a business, makes me even more determined to not give up and have faith. By building a successful business and serving the public I can change the dynamic for my family for generations to come. I am building a legacy for my children. One of my favorite quotes: “He who fears he will suffer already suffers because he fears.” – Michel De Montaigne.

I used to fear that I would not be able to handle things alone but now I face my fears head on. Faith and family are the factor and success of my company and brand: Efficient Mobile Notaries LLC. ”Efficient” services make it easier for professionals to ”Trust” that their notarial acts are performed efficiently with competence and accuracy.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a Lead Financial Concierge Advisor for a specialty pharmacy, and I have an extensive 10-year background in customer service and patient care. I am also a mobile notary public loan signing agent, and most proud about completing my bachelor’s in Business Administration-Accounting. My plan is to also become a forensic certified public accountant. There are only a few black women in this field and it’s exciting to pursue the field of accounting and be included as one of them. Enhancing my skills and continuing my education will set me apart from other businesses in my field. It has not been easy. I lost my grandmother and my mother within two weeks of each other in August of 2021. Working, going to school, and managing a household while grieving is not easy, but it is possible. Praying, managing my time, and setting healthy boundaries is how I overcame my challenges. The lessons I’ve learned along the way are to be patient and wait. Being patient is key along with having faith. I am more patient in life and trust that the seeds we sow are the seeds that grow. What you put out in the world, giving back, and serving others is what you will receive. I want the world to know that anything is possible, and every now and then we must stop and just say “Thank you”. At this stage of my development, I take more time now to stop and just enjoy the scenery and love those around me.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting the area, I would take them to Trinity Groves, Downtown Dallas, and Lower Greenville Avenue in Dallas. Live music, great food, drinks, karaoke, and an excellent atmosphere are what I enjoy about these areas. They are my go-to places. The patios and rooftop views are exceptional. There are many places to visit in Dallas. Dallas Arts District, Reunion Tower, Dallas Arboretum and Botanica, Dallas Museum of Art, and Klyde Warren Park would be exciting places or things I would suggest checking out. Capital Grille and Fogo De Chao would be the places I love to eat. Dallas to me is the place to be.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to send a shout-out to my father. As my mentor and friend his wise counsel and guidance have helped shape me into who I am today. Through major life events and different stages of my development, he has inspired and motivated me the most. He ensured I never lost faith, ran from a challenge, or gave up. I am forever grateful and honored to have him in my life. To my brother Anthony who has not missed a beat checking on me and paving the way for me to reach my highest potential. His trust in me and love has never wavered. To my wonderful children and my sources of strength and support, Keith, and Kaiyah,  I love them whole heartily and dedicate this article to them. I plan to leave them a legacy of love, truth, honor, hard work, and kindness. Everything I do is for them.
