We had the good fortune of connecting with Facial Luxxe by CDG and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Facial Luxxe, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I would like to do more outside my work profession, but at the same time enjoy it… since I always claim to be forever 29 (yrs old), I was inspired to go for a beauty business =)

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The three of us are all registered nurses… We are immigrants from the Philippines, where we had our Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees then worked in our fields, waited almost 10years to get here due to recession… In between, we worked in other countries prior – one of us in Kuwait, Riyadh, and Singapore. Being an immigrant is a challenge per se not only for ourselves but for our families, but we have to be resilient and show everyone that we can do it… Chez would say be better than the best – cause being the best you somewhat stop but being better you always strive and continue to grow… On the other hand, for our business, we believe we would be unique as we learned the science about it, not just performing it, and we would have the most complete facial treatment you would ever have at a cheaper price instead of add-ons. to get you pampered and feel a new you.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
So, we are in FortWorth… I got friends that visited me from different states and our families from the Philippines… Places to go in here:

Water garden – where you will go down to like a spiral inverted pyramid or octagon

Japanese garden – just nature or scenery with birds and fishes

Stockyards – of course, to see the cowboys and longhorns

Coyote drive-in – watch movies and eat in your car

Sundance square – see the nice splash pad/fountain that kids would also enjoy
Greatwolf lodge – if you have kids then it’s a good call to stay in here even just as a day pass

Gaylord Texan – especially on Christmas has a lot to show and this is one of the luxe places to go

Then can go to Dallas or cabins nearby…
