Hi EvoDidIt, why did you pursue a creative career?
Ill give a few reasons why…

1) I’ve naturally always been a creative, I’ve always loved and respected the arts.

2) Music is just something I can’t live without. Whether I’m making it or enjoying someone else’s.

3) Its a great way to express yourself & show different sides of yourself.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I got to where I am today by just believing that I could do it. (As cliche as that sounds) I used to be in my head alot about my music, to the point where I got in my own way, “scared to fail, am I good enough, did I miss my window of opportunity.” Just insecurities.

Once I realized that I was the only person holding me back I started putting things out on my own & just kept pushing, growing and learning.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would definitely take them to Deep Ellum downtown.

Lots of spots with live music, open mics etc.

And food. Lol

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Definitely my mother, she introduced me to alot of great R&B music growing up…

I thank BET’s 106 & Park and MTV’s TRL for the rest, lol I wanted to be there.
