Hi Evan Downey – Dallas Realtor®, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Master of own destiny. This was not an option working a 9-5 job making most money for someone else, that is the business owner. Working for a company and addicted to the every 2 week “hit” of getting a paycheck began to lose it’s grip. 2020 was a year of a lot of uncertainty and finally going full time real estate was a scary thought, especially with my first baby being born in February. Walking away from a good paying job was almost an impossible thought. Even though I knew if I went full time as a Realtor, the success would be there, and I knew it had to happen. Until something else happened….I’ll tell you in the interview!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Food – Lucia (Italian), Uchi (Sushi), Knife (steakhouse), and Eataly for gelato or affogato.

Places to visit – Bishop Arts, 6th floor museum, aquarium, rodeo in stock yards
