We had the good fortune of connecting with ERIKA AYALA and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi ERIKA, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Exceptional customer service and top of the line work. I will always go above and beyond for my customers.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am the owner of Ayala Balloons and we specialize in luxury balloon styling and event decor servicing the DFW area. What sets me aside from other balloon companies is that when you hired Ayala Balloons our priority will be your event and making sure we provide you with the best decor in DFW. When I first started “blowing up balloons” I had no clue what I was doing, I literally taught myself. There was no classes and really not that many balloon artists in DFW. Were there challenges? Absolutely! From having to rent a u-haul every weekend, sleepless night, difficult set ups, etc. I worked through and continued to work hard! I have learned that you have to work hard even when you want to quit and it will pay off one day. Ayala Balloons now has a pink cargo van which brings the party across DFW, a large variety of rentals and we continue to provide the best for our clients.
Our business was built with love, hard worker and dedication.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Stockyards- so much to see and no matter how many times you visit it is always interesting.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I started this business and I was always scared, I was scared I was not going to get any bookings and that I was going to fail but my husband pushed me and motivated me to just give a try. I honestly was so scared I kept on telling him I couldn’t do it and that I was going to fail but luckily he motivated me enough to not give up.
If my business is successful it is because of him, he pushed me enough to believe in myself and encouraged me to continue even when things were hard.
