We had the good fortune of connecting with Erick Lawson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Erick, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I have been in my industry for almost 30 years and during a conversation with my wife, we decided that we wanted to take this venture together. We recognized that we could offer customers the same or even a higher level of service, with less expense for their business.
What should our readers know about your business?
E.T. Service is a forklift and fleet service business, we pride ourselves on next level honesty, integrity, and transparency in our operations. We mostly deal with business to business transactions, however, as word has gotten around, we are getting more calls from some great people in our community. When clients meet our staff, they immediately realize that we care about their situation and are here to make the repair process as easy as possible. This has been a really crazy experience, all of the ups and downs can take a toll on your emotional state, but, we have stuck through it all and are now seeing some real growth with the business.
We completely funded everything on our own because we did not want to incur a lot of debt in the process, as I said, without my amazing wife’s support, none of this would have been possible. It has been a true team effort and we are excited to see where things go from here.
If you own a business and have industrial equipment (forklifts, scissor lifts, compactors, generators, etc.) or a fleet that requires maintenance and repair services, we would love to sit down with you and discuss the various ways that we can serve you and potentially save your company thousands of dollars per year!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Snooze an A.M. Eatery for breakfast, Tranky’s Tacos for lunch, and Table 13 for dinner. These are a few of my wife and I’s favorite places to eat! Throw in Pappadeaux’s for the W!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My beautiful wife, Sharonda! Without her, none of this would have been possible, she is a true blessing from God!
