Meet Endorphin Report | Denton Band

We had the good fortune of connecting with Endorphin Report and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Endorphin, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
All 4 of us are from the DFW area, and grew up around music. Whether it be being in school of rock, or choirs, or orchestras, we have been surrounded by music all of our lives and all of that experience has translated into our band in a tremendous way.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We are a band who loves making music that people can dance to. We also love making people laugh, if you wanna know what we mean you’re gonna have to go to a show! Our sound is incomparable to others, and so is our stage presence. Recently, we recorded an audition for NPR’s Tiny Desk concert and we are very excited about that!! We got to where we are today from a year of hard work. We have been writing as many songs as we can, playing tons of shows, and just trying to market ourselves to the public. We want the world to know the wonders of seeing Endorphin Report live.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Rubber Gloves is great for shows of all types, Recycled Books is a great place for records, and the D20 tavern is amazing for tabletop gaming!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Huge shoutout to all of our parents, the Golden’s, Barbara’s, Campopiano’s, and Schultz’s/Hartz’s. They support us every day and give us the things needed to get together and practice (and not go hungry lol). Also big shoutout to the Denton venues that allow us to play, The Asylum, The Vending Machine, Andy’s (rip), Rubber Gloves, and every other amazing venue.
