We had the good fortune of connecting with Elijah ‘BOSSLIFE LITO’ BURGOS and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Elijah ‘BOSSLIFE LITO’, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Consistency, constantly finding new ways and new people to be innovative. You want to keep everything fresh, I think content is key in the process of building a successful brand. If your not excited about the little steps then no one else is. Show every step of the process, every little win leading to the big ones. Consumers like to feel like they have grown along side the company they are supporting.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
The best thing about the art and creative I have to offer is the fact that my brand knows exactly who and what we target. I think knowing who you are as a brand is very important especially in building something with longevity. It’s easy to get caught in the mix and lose your identity. You want to create something that people love and know you for, then you want to create a lot of it. I started off networking at different events building my contacts so that when I had a real opportunity to offer I wouldn’t waste those phone calls. I want the world to know consistency from my brand, I want the world to know we are a resultant company that you may not have fallen in love with today but will definitely have an opportunity to fall in love with tomorrow.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Honestly I am a true homebody however I love going to Barclays and Madison Square for events and sports games. I also love Chinese food from Chinatown. Mostly spending time with my son at the lovely parks NYC has to offer.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost my mother and mentor Camille Evans who is an industry vet with more then 20 years experience in the game. She’s helped break artist like Outcast, Mystikal, Mary J Blidge, Mariah Carey, Britney Spears and more. I’ve been blessed to grow up being groomed into an executive and now still having the guidance and support of her is a blessing. Would also like to shoutout Run-It-Up Records and Boss Life Productions for the growth over the last 4 years.
