We had the good fortune of connecting with Elias Cole and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Elias, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I chose this path because it has always made me feel normal in a way. I have never been good at expressing myself to others but I feel comfort letting people know how I feel and where I’m at through my music. Also career wise it shows you do not have to fall into a broken pattern that has existed forever— you can break free you just have to want to break free.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Truth is I dont know. Its still early in my career my story is still being written. I would say just try till it works. As far as who I am I just want people to love themselves and if I can help with my art then I know thats enough.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Usually just hang out in the studio eat some whataburger or go to the city and shoot videos.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The main people I would like to give recognition to is SpaceMan Zack he has mentored and given me a platform to stand on and is always encouraging. I would shoutout T Aubrey single handedly puts the entire DFW scene on his back and he goes the extra mile to boost the people he sees potential in. Also J4Y who has been as solid as any engineer you could ask for he is always evolving and is an integral part of our success.
