We had the good fortune of connecting with DuoDiva and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi DuoDiva, what principle do you value most?
Having integrity, integrity is an important value to have it represents who you are when you’re with someone and when you’re not with someone. Leaving that stamp of trust is an important representation of your authentic self.Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
We DuoDivas, are full time hairstylist, beauty influencers of DFW area. We have been in business for the past 6 years but childhood friends for over 20+ years, we believe that, that is a major key of what sets us apart. We are most proud and excited about becoming new business owners of DuoDiva Salon Suites and looking forward to continued success of more salon suites to come. The way we have reached where we are today is with networking, with us not originally being here (Dallas) we definitely felt the need to network! Was it easy? it actually wasn’t as bad as we thought, we love getting out and getting to know people Some of the lesson is definitely making sure you stand your ground and not let anyone tell you how to run your business. No matter how young or old, you run it how you want! we’ve had a lot of backlash going into business as best friends. WE want the world to know that we are best friends and business partners it can work with communication and trust! thats what our brand represents and stands on, we wouldn’t be DuoDiva with out the two of us!Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well, pre Covid, If our bestfriend would visit we would definitely go to a good restaurant, which wont be hard to choose. Go shopping then of course go find somewhere to dance and have a good time.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
For the DuoDivas we would have to definitely give credit where credit is due. Rachel Mathews, of Diva Styles Salon, has supported us, believed in us and has paved the way for us and many other stylist & entrepreneurs.
