We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr. Christin Bradley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dr. Christin, what do you attribute your success to?
God’s calling on my life has to be one of the most important factors behind my success. The moment purpose was revealed to me through God, I was driven towards reaching the vision that was placed on the inside of me. While success is defined differently by every individual, I believe that you are never truly successful until you have consistently sowed into other people. Through the work that I do, I am always asking myself how I can better serve the disability community or how I can better educate my friends and family about the disability community so that they can not only have a higher level of awareness but in turn be able to teach what they have learned to other people.

You see, this life we live in is way bigger than us, it’s way bigger than the finer things that are glorified by the media: wealth, power, fame, luxury & prestige; and yes, while we all deserve to live happy fulfilling lives, what better way to live it knowing that you have helped better someone else’ life in the process?

You don’t reach success without having the ability to bounce back from the challenging circumstances that life throws at you. My ability to be resilient and endure situations I did not always see coming is another factor behind my success.

To summarize it all, fulfilling purpose is my primary goal, and without a commitment to that purpose there can be no lasting success.

What should our readers know about your business?
Have you ever experienced something so rewarding that you thought, “I want to empower more people to experience this same feeling too!” My vision for Inclusive Community Home Care was influenced by my previous experience as a caregiver for two brothers with Autism, Joshua & Emmanuel. Being able to care for these boys taught me a lot about life. It taught me that giving our time, patience, compassion, and love is the highest form of service that one can truly provide. Creating inclusive community home care allows our caregivers to provide this same type of love to the clients we serve. Our agency assists children and adults with disabilities, seniors, veterans, and others with personal care such as grooming, bathing, meal preparation, medication reminders, transportation to medical appointments, and more. What sets us apart is that we offer clients who may be deaf or blind the ability to request reasonable accommodations, so they can have full access to our services. My vision for Inclusive Community home care is to be able to provide services that are inclusive of the whole community. I believe that inclusion should exist at every level of the business. We pride ourselves on leading with inclusion in mind. Building an inclusive business has inspired me to create The Inclusive CEO coaching program where I have the opportunity to teach other business owners and leaders how to incorporate disability inclusion within their own business. As you can see, Disability Inclusion is near and dear to my heart and I just want the world to know that if you can commit to setting aside your misconceptions and bias you will be able to see that we are all capable and deserving of being provided the opportunity to be equal contributors within the society that we live.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Although I have only visited a few cities in Texas, I would be willing to bet that Dallas is hands down the best city in Texas! I believe everyone should visit this gem at least once in their life. From shopping to sports, to many dining options, the sky is the limit when you visit Dallas. I would have to say, if you are a foodie like me, then Dallas is the place to be and in my opinion, is what is most attractive about the city. The perfect itinerary in my opinion for someone looking to take a trip to the city would be to travel around town and enjoy some retail therapy. After retail therapy, you must indulge in the many food options! Some of my favorite restaurants are Monarch Dallas, Paradiso’s in Bishop Arts, Nick and Sam’s, and Trulucks to just name a few! I would also encourage those visiting the city to venture out up North to Frisco/Plano area and enjoy legacy west, Shops at legacy as well as the Star if you are a cowboy fan!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
2.)My journey to where I am in life was not achieved alone but was achieved because of the support from my family and friends along the way. It’s nothing like knowing you have a support system behind you holding you accountable and reminding you that when times get challenging to keep pushing through because the outcome will be well worth it. There’s never a day that goes by that I do not thank god for giving me vision and purpose. When times get tough he is who I lean on for the strength to keep going. In the last 18 years, I have been blessed to care for many individuals with unique abilities. It is you who has taught me the true value of life. It is you who has encouraged me to see the world through a new lens and value people differently. It is because of you that my reality has expanded, and my perspective of life is forever changed.
