Meet Dr. Brianna Ortiz | Chiropractor & Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr. Brianna Ortiz and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dr. Brianna, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
At first I was nervous, I only had some ideas on how to start a chiropractic business but it’s a whole different ball game actually running it. But I knew that opening up Holistic Alignment was what I needed to do in order to serve my community the best way possible. The goal of Holistic Alignment is to look at the whole individual’s needs & try to meet them as best as possible. Are you someone that needs chiropractic care, nutrition testing, fitness then I can help you with that. Need a mental specialist, OBGYN, etc then I can refer you in the right direction to what you need.
What should our readers know about your business?
The way I got to where I am today was through the guidance & mentorship of God leading me to the right people at the right time. I don’t think people understand how personal God can be in your life & if it weren’t for Him I wouldn’t have been able to keep going. Having a business is definitely not easy. I would say it takes a ton of time & effort but what I would say is to constantly remind yourself of the purpose you do it for. This business is not about me, it’s about the individuals who need guidance to living a higher quality of life.
I’ve learned that not everyone is ready to start their healing journey. Some may start their healing journey later or not at all but at the end of the day I can’t take their decisions personal, I just need to continue to serve & guide those who are ready for the journey of healing.
Holistic Alignment is a business that utilize chiropractic care, nutrition testing, whole food supplementation & fitness in order to help people live a higher quality of life by being there for the people they love & pursuing their passions without any hindrances from pain.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Some favorite spots I like in Dallas would be the Bishop arts area! I like chill restaurants there like Tribal cafe & the wall art there is always great for pictures!
Another spot I like to go to is Deep Ellum, such an artsy vibe but different from Bishop Arts, the people are very artsy & laid back it’s also a fun place to hit the clubs & grab ice cream from Chill360.
Another place to hang out is Trinity overlook park especially at night. You get to see the whole Dallas Skyline. Very romantic & euphoric. Also a great place to go for exercise!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Definitely want to give credit to my mom, if it weren’t for her always encouraging me to be my best I’m not sure where I would be.
Marlo Mozee at The Mansion on Park Row continually encourages me to keep my heart & mind open to the endless possibilities of what God can do through me.
Tiffany Mahon, CEO of Modest Muse nonprofit for women she was the main person who helped me get my LLC & said I’m starting my own business back in December 2020
