We had the good fortune of connecting with Dorion Gipson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dorion, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
“Accomplishing what Man can’t Accomplish” 

Everyone on earth serves a purpose and has opportunity to impact the lives of others. We are all put on this earth for a reason and coming from  a Radio, TV, Film, IT, and Technology background I wanted to test this theory. The pandemic hit hard in 2020 and I was laid off from my job in IT, so as result I went to work for myself and started my own Digital Marketing Company. I came to the realization through this process, that I found my purpose to help as many businesses as possible. Not only do I assist with Digital Marketing services, but I’m also showing businesses other innovative ways on how to create other streams of income. I got the opportunity to work with my first client Gipson Grocery located at 1701 Shaw St. Dallas, TX in West Dallas near the Trinity Groves area. While working with the family business, I found my purpose and have an overall passion to help business owners while giving back to the community.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Life is very busy as I get up every morning around 5am. I start my mornings off in prayer giving all the glory to God. I spend my mornings researching and studying staying abreast of current events, news and technology. It is my mission to be the subject matter expert when it comes to digital marketing so doing my due diligence on a daily is key. I also spend time following up with existing clients and also seeking out new businesses that I can help. Music is also a great passion so I DJ parties, weddings, and private events primarily on the weekends. It hasn’t been easy and I’ve been faced with many challenges but my faith, family, and hard work allow me to continue to push forward.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Dallas has great entertainment, restaurants, and shopping for anyone coming to visit the great state of Texas. If I had a friend visiting we would definitely go to some of the local hot spot areas like Deep Ellum, Uptown, Downtown, Bishop Arts and Lower Greenville. There are many things the city of Dallas has to offer from fine dining, nightlife, shopping, and excellent sporting events. For food I’d take anyone visiting out for some great Texas Barbecue. For shopping we would venture over to NorthPark Mall or the Galleria. Texans love their sports teams so a Rangers, Mavericks, Stars or Cowboys game is always ideal and fun for people visiting. Dallas, TX is developing rapidly with many people moving here from out of state so there is something for everyone.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
All my credit for success goes to God and my family especially my father who has been extremely supportive and a true inspiration in my life. I’m an very grateful and hope to make a huge impact in the digital marketing space right here in Dallas, TX!
