We had the good fortune of connecting with Donovan Bridgeforth and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Donovan, how do you think about risk?
In business, the right amount of risk is necessary to making a lasting impact. I have a higher tolerance for risk now, as opposed to when I first began. I would say that is because I have learned that more risk equals more reward. But, with all that said, keep your risk as low or high as you can tolerate.

What should our readers know about your business?
My newest endeavor is TXAN 24 News. This company provides state-wide news coverage for Texans. We have been privileged enough to have 8,000 followers on our Facebook page in our first month.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to give a shoutout to my little sister, Sydney Bridgeforth. She is a dancer for the Memphis Grizzlies. My sister is one of the major reasons I push through any adversity, as to show her that if I can push through, so can she.
