We had the good fortune of connecting with D’Maric Moore and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi D’Maric, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
Staying consistent is very necessary because doing so can open so many doors. If your prepared for when those doors are open then you can hit the ground running in any career path. Paying attention to your gut feeling on a consistent basis will be come natural and make decision making alot easier.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Currently at Creative Factory. The soul mission is to help and develop music artist. They also do a plethora of other things including film, publishing, and tv commercials. Johnathan and Christian have put their time into their business and are doing things alot differently then other music companies. I feel Iike they actually care about artists and want the absolute best for them. How I ended up at the company was just from a simple dm on Instagram. I asked if there was any way I could make a good fit into the company. There was a position available that not a lot of people in Dallas knew how to do. Christian told me it would be alot of work and if I think I could do it. I’m one hundred percent committed to the cause and the company so of course I took the intern position.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If you want to take a girl on a date or to just simply gaze at the downtown Dallas skyline yourself then Trammel Crow Park is the place to go. You can walk on the trail, have a picnic or just sit in the car and observe. I feel like that place would be ten times better if it was a drive movie theatre as well. It literally has the perfect set up for the park to be one. I don’t know what it is but I love Park Mall at Arlington. I always find everything I need and they also have other i testing things like arcades, ice skating and an AMC theatre. The vibe is always good there with tons of laughter coming from the food court and ice rink.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Definitely right now a huge shoutout would have to go to the guys behind the scenes at a music company called Creative Factory. Chrsitian and Johnathan decided to take me in as an intern when I asked numerous people and companies for help. They have been nothing but kind and supportive. I have learned a lot from them in such a short amount of time and I’m also doing a lot of informative reading which is helping me a lot as well. I just finished my first project with the company as far as handling contracts and what a contract should look like. A submission form was worked on as well and were sent off by i and the team to all our artist.
