We had the good fortune of connecting with Disha Scymone and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Disha, how do you think about risk?
The risks you take defines the person you become. Testing limits and pushing yourself will reveal what you’re really made of. When you see everyone taking the right path and you feel like taking the left one will work better for you, That’s risk. Trusting in yourself , work ethic, and self motivation to bring you success. Some days you don’t make a single dollar, the next money won’t stop coming in. It’s the reward of the risk that plays such an important role. Take Risk and Prosper

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I LOVE HAIR! I’ve been experimenting with hair since elementary school. I used to bring my Jam( Gel) and brush to school and do slick ponytails. Hair was a natural thing to me but I’ve always been open to learning new things and ideas. New designs and ways of doing hair always excite me. I’m always watching videos and observing to stay current . You’re never too old to learning new things. If I don’t know how to do something, I’ll find a way to learn and figure it out.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Definitely have to make our way to Rudy’s for a 6 piece wing , don’t forget extra pickles & seasoning. Then funnel cake paradise off Gannon in Dallas. And we might as well walk around the corner and pick up a few pair of heels at Shoe Trend. You want the current in style heels, that’s your go to place. Any of the Botanical Gardens are great photo opp spots . I enjoy good deals , Burlington and Marshall’s have hidden gems.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My boyfriend plays a giant role. He’s the one that encouraged me to really just go for what I wanted. I was working at a job I hate a few years ago, and he was like, “Just quit”. If he had faith in me why could I have faith in myself.
