Meet David and Katherine Roman | Owners of The Romans Shop

We had the good fortune of connecting with David and Katherine Roman and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi David and Katherine, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Our thought process behind staring The Roman Shop stemmed from the fact that David and I have always loved building/making things together, we also love making handmade gifts for our loved ones and personalizing it so that it has a sentimental value to it, so naturally when we began The Romans Shop we incorporated this into our business. We loved the idea that we could create beautiful items for others while spending time together.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We specialize on creating personalized laser cut and engraved gifts/keepsakes that remind our clients of a special moment in their life’s, whether it be a huge Milestone like a wedding, a baby, an anniversary, or just capturing your child’s growth with our personalized growth chart ; we want every client to feel special when they receive their order. One of the biggest lessons we have we’ve learned along the way has been to focus on the small details, David and I are big on serving others and it brings us joy to see others happy, that is why we make customer service a huge part of our business.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and Foremost we wouldn’t have any kind of success without God, he has blessed us more than we could ever imagine possible and we wouldn’t have any kind of success with out Him. We would also love to Thank and recognize our close family members who have willingly and cheerfully showed up at our home with words of encouragement, warm food, and a helping hand during our busiest time, without them we wouldn’t be here.
