We had the good fortune of connecting with Dash Starling and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dash, we’d love to hear more about your end-goal, professionally.
For me, the end goal Is generational wealth. I think a lot of people might throw that term around pretty loosely these days but to me, generational wealth means knowing that my kids, and my kid’s kids, and their kids can go to sleep at night not wondering how they’ll keep a roof over their heads. The end goal for me means that over the course of my career, I would have exhausted every resource, turned every corner, and busted every brick to establish solid foundations to build my family on. I’m fortunate enough to have found passion in one of the most valuable resources in the world, real estate, and with the help of God and my family as the strongest support system I have, my goal is to ultimately build my own real estate empire. After soaking in all of the knowledge I possibly can in the next few years as a real estate agent, I plan to pursue my brokers license and open my own brokerage. Beyond that, I plan to put my capital to work through an abundance of buy and hold investments, and eventually I plan to establish my own development community. By the end of my career, I hope that I’ve planted enough seeds for the generations to come from me to be able to eat from the fruits of my labor.

What should our readers know about your business?
I’m a REALTOR® in the DFW area and I have the pleasure of following my passion with the #1 largest independently owned brokerage in North Texas, Rogers Healy and Associates. I do anything from buying and selling, to helping clients find an apartment, which happens to be a FREE service. The brand that I’m creating for myself is one that exudes luxury. luxury doesn’t necessarily mean something that costs a lot, either. Often times we hear the word ‘luxury’ and we instantly think of a price tag, when, the definition of the word itself is actually “the state of great comfort and extravagant living”. I’m in the business of creating luxury experiences. What that means is that, I employ strategy, expert market knowledge, and my love for helping people to create a seamless and, what feels like, an effortless experience, no matter your realty needs. I want my clients to walk away from their transaction, new keys in hand, feeling like they’ve just closed on a multi-million dollar estate, no matter the actual price point. I’ve always been an outgoing and empathetic person and that has helped me greatly in being able to create these memorable, luxury experiences. One of my favorite parts about my business is being able to build and maintain lifelong relationships. That’s what sets me apart. Having my clients know that I actually listen to their needs and I genuinely care about their situation and their wellbeing, and that I’m not just a salesperson looking to make a quick buck. Buying or selling a home is a major life event, and being able to walk my clients through that process every step of the way, and recognize that they’ve allowed me to take part in it, is the most gratifying part of it all.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Dallas is such lively city where, on any given day of the week, you can always find a good bite and endless entertainment. If a friend of mine came to visit, we’d have such an amazing time immersing ourselves in the various experiences the city provides. On Monday, we might visit the Dallas Museum of Illusion and share laughs at the dizzying optical illusions that warp our bodies and brains. On Tuesday, we’ll treat ourselves to some retail therapy at the Galleria Mall, maybe a trip to The Shops at Park Lane. Wednesdays are for the foodies! Breakfast at Snooze, an A.M. Eatery, lunch at Dallas Grilled Cheese Co., a quick ice cream stop at Cauldron Ice Cream, and a sophisticated dinner at Drake’s Old Hollywood Restaurant and Bar to finish the night out. On Thursday, we’ll tap into our inner sports fanatic and catch a game at the American Airlines Center and on Friday night, we’ll let our hair down and enjoy some drinks in Deep Ellum as we enjoy experiencing the city’s night life.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes, of course! First and foremost, I owe everything I have and will ever have to God. Beyond that, my family has been my biggest and loudest personal cheer team, one of my biggest support systems. Shoutout to my mom, tía, cousin, and baby sister for always wholeheartedly supporting me!! Family doesn’t necessarily just mean blood either, but being able to surround myself with like minded individuals who genuinely care about me and my well being has been such a big push. One of my biggest shoutouts goes to my amazing boyfriend. He’s truly been my rock throughout this entire journey, he helped make a lot of my accomplishments possible and I’m forever grateful for him. Lastly, there’s a podcast interview by David Never Sleeps with Doug Depte on YouTube, completely reshaped my perspective on what it takes to be successful. Highly recommend giving it a listen!
