Meet Danielle Phillips | Spiritual and Wellness Practitioner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Danielle Phillips and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Danielle, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
My work in the community is deeply rooted in a desire to reconnect with ancestral wisdom and use it to heal—not just myself, but my family and the broader community. I started this journey out of a personal need for healing, seeking out traditional herbal medicine, intuitive guidance, and holistic wellness practices as a way to restore balance in my own life. Through that process, I realized how disconnected many of us have become from the natural and spiritual healing traditions that have sustained our ancestors for generations. I felt called to share this knowledge and these gifts, making them accessible and empowering others to reclaim these practices for themselves.
Through my free community herbal medicine classes, I provide a space where people—especially beginners—can learn how to use everyday herbs for healing in an approachable and engaging way. These workshops are designed to remove barriers to wellness education, ensuring that knowledge of plant medicine isn’t limited to those with privilege or formal training. But my work extends beyond herbalism—it is also deeply spiritual.
As an intuitive medium, I help others connect with their ancestors, spirit guides, and their own inner wisdom. I offer spiritual guidance, energy work, and messages from the other side to support healing, clarity, and transformation. My practice blends plant medicine with intuitive insight, recognizing that true healing is not just physical but emotional, energetic, and spiritual. I hold space for people to remember who they are, tap into their own intuition, and navigate their life’s path with deeper understanding and confidence.
The impact of this work goes beyond individual healing—it ripples outward. When one person learns to heal themselves, they can bring that knowledge back to their families, their communities, and beyond. I see this as a form of activism, a way to decolonize wellness and return power to the people. By making herbal, spiritual, and intuitive healing more accessible, I’m not just teaching about plants or offering messages from spirit—I’m helping people remember their own power, their own wisdom, and their own connection to something greater.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I started with lighting candles to help with grieving the loss of my mother. It was a way to honor her, to hold space for my grief, and to invite in clarity. But as I delved deeper, I realized I didn’t truly know the energy behind the products I was using. Were they created with intention? Were they aligned with me spiritually? Or were they just made for profit?
That realization pushed me to create something different. I wanted to fuse intention into the creative process, infusing my work with prayer, music, and energy—creating not just products, but sacred tools. Every candle, every herbal blend, every item I make is crafted in a space of deep spiritual alignment. I prayed that my work and my business would grow through word of mouth rather than self-promotion, and that prayer has been answered time and time again.
Today, my products are sold at Windsor Court Hotel Spa, where I also created a signature candle for their 40th birthday as part of my private label bespoke collection. I have a focused collection of private label items at Focus & Flow Wellness Center and other white-label partnerships, all built on relationships and the power of energy alignment. I also host monthly Full Moon ceremonies at The Red Shoes Wellness Center and seasonal pop-up shops where I offer both herbal medicine and spiritual products—all of which have reached people organically, through the trust and word-of-mouth of my community.
Was it easy to get here? No. The path wasn’t always clear, and there were moments of doubt and difficulty. But I overcame those challenges by trusting my intuition, staying true to my spiritual practice, and allowing my work to be guided rather than forced. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that alignment matters more than anything—when you create with pure intention, the right opportunities will come. I’ve also learned the power of surrender. Instead of chasing success in the traditional sense, I’ve allowed my work to unfold naturally, and that has brought me to places I never imagined.
What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that this is more than a business—it’s a calling. Every product, every ceremony, every offering is infused with purpose, prayer, and deep spiritual connection. My work is about healing, remembrance, and returning to the wisdom of our ancestors. I don’t create just to sell—I create to uplift, to transform, and to provide people with tools that truly support their spiritual and emotional well-being. My journey started with a desire to connect with my mother, and in doing so, I have been able to help others connect—to themselves, their roots, and the divine.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My sister has been a guiding light on my journey into herbal medicine, intuitive work, and spiritual healing. From the beginning, she has supported me not just as family, but as a fellow seeker—encouraging me to trust my intuition, explore ancestral wisdom, and deepen my connection to the unseen.
She has been a source of inspiration, reminding me of the strength that runs through our lineage and the healing power that exists within us. Whether through shared knowledge, deep conversations, or simply holding space for my growth, she has helped me embrace my gifts as an intuitive medium and herbalist. Her presence has reinforced the importance of community, connection, and the ways we uplift each other on this path.
Together, we have explored spiritual practices, learned from our ancestors, and supported each other in our healing journeys. Her belief in me has given me the confidence to share my work with the world, and her wisdom continues to shape the way I approach both herbal medicine and spiritual guidance. In many ways, she has been both a teacher and a mirror, reflecting back the power and purpose that has always been within me.
