We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniel & DeShambriel Gray and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Daniel & DeShambriel, what’s the most important thing you’ve done for your children?
One of the most important things we have done as parents is provide our children with a first hand experience of what it means to show love to all, especially the less fortunate. We have explained that love is not just a four letter word that is just spoken, but it is an action word that you have to show with your actions. We have noticed that our children have shown more gratitude for the things that they have, and also have shown great leadership skills in looking to start their own businesses in the future.

Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
We are both really big on food and family, so the best places if we are including the family would be Dave and Busters and Amazing Jakes so the kids could enjoy themselves. Just adults we would start off with an all you can eat Breakfast at Luby’s. Probably visit Downtown Dallas to see some historical sights, have an amazing Mexican lunch at Gloria’s in Dallas. Wrap the night up at home in the back yard grilling some steaks and links and enjoy some family time. The city of Dallas has some very fun and interesting places you can check out for all people, such as a Cowboys or Mavericks game for sports fans, or a comedy show or concert for other entertainment.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We would love to give a shout out to our other board members Tiffany Johnson & Phillip Fagan. They have been very instrumental in our success as a company. Also Jeanette Berry the founder of Operation Community Care Inc who is the mentor of De’Shambriel. Lastly a huge shoutout to all the support from volunteers, contributors, and all that gave encouragement down through the years.
