We had the good fortune of connecting with Dani, Willem and Kason and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dani, Willem, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
We feel that all of our music is genuine and that we just play what we want to play, and people just so happen to like it. We pride ourselves in being wholly dedicated to our craft while just being ourselves.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Our differing musical backgrounds have called for a sound that doesn’t necessarily align with a particular genre. We’ve all developed our musical skills to a point where we can allow our personalities to dictate how we make decisions musically. We all have a say in the band, and we each provide our own personal flavor to make a unique listening experience.

As far as lessons we have learned, it’s best to ALWAYS be honest with your partners in art, business, and life. We have had several experiences where dishonesty has caused discord in our group, that could have been avoided by being honest upfront. If you care about what you and your peers are doing, be professional, respectful, and understanding. This can go a long way in any relationship.

We want the world to know that when this pandemic ceases, we’ll be back with more music and maybe another addition to the band.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well first, we start out at JR’s Cafe in Saginaw for an insatiable breakfast for cheap and down to earth service. Then we’d head to Six Flags Over Texas for an exciting day of roller coasters and funnel cake. After that, we’d recommend travelling to Deep Ellum, the most popular dive-bar area in North Texas. Plenty of amazing venues, bars, and restaurants including our own favorite, Serious Pizza. While we dive in and out of bars in Dallas, we discover many amazing local acts and some of the literal best bands in the country and the world.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We wanna dedicate our shoutout to two people whom without, our first album would not exist today.

Steve O’Brien – Thanks for investing in our future and truly, honestly having faith in our dreams. We wouldn’t be where we are without you.

Ben Barnett – For the amazing production you provided during the release of our debut album, and your incredible insight into the music industry for starting musicians like us.
