We had the good fortune of connecting with CRESHAE Dominique and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi CRESHAE, what makes you happy? Why?
What makes me happy? The first word that comes to mind is unity. If you know me, you know that I love bringing people together. That could be in the capacity of a business event, a birthday party, a church conference or just kickbacks at my home. It’s something that warms my heart, just being with family and friends; even when I meet new people. I love bringing together one circle of friends and another circle friends & just creating community. I also love when I can meet great coworkers and get to know them outside of work and build more relationships. I was definitely raised on knowing the importance of building relationships and from them to have longevity. We need each other no matter what. I’m such a relatable, personable, extroverted individual that loves to be around people. Now don’t get me wrong, I definitely need my break from the world sometimes. That self-care time is usually for me to just reset. Once I can clear my mind and reorganize my thoughts, then Ill go back into the world. The energy, aura, and vibe that I bring to any environment can be addictive; in a good way. People are used to me having that upbeat, energetic energy and I love that about me. I feel that’s what the world needs and I feel like that’s my gift. I need to put it into the world because it’s so much going on right now, we could use good energy and great vibes.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Recently, I was unfortunately one of many that have been laid off in this confused world. It was time for me to move on & the right time to focus on being a creative. I am currently preparing for Grad School and working on my entrepreneurship journey. I have a true passion for people. I love meeting new faces, interacting within new groups, and connecting people with other networks. I really enjoy getting to know new souls and learning what they’re about. My dad has always said, “If you’re not networking, you’re not working.” I just know no matter what I do in life it will always have to do with connecting with people, networking, and creating unity. I feel that is truly my purpose in life. The best way I do that is by being my authentic self, which can be entertaining. That is why my company, “Thee C.D. Enterprises LLC, “was created. A company or the umbrella for my brands that encompasses who I am & what I feel the world needs. At the moment, I am building on two of my brands; “Just a little 1,2 Podcast” and “PC the brand,” which is all things fashion (name to be launched soon). This company is not only my way to show and utilize my gifts of creativity and gab; but to entertain and unite the masses in a positive way, via social media and beyond. I am most proud of the fact that no matter how many times I’ve attempted to utilize and show my gifts, I have never given up. And that’s what set me apart from others. Now, it has not been a smooth road and I feel it could have been. However, the more wisdom I gain, the more I realize that I have been the cause of my own demise. God has always blessed me to be in the right environments, have the right mindset, keeping me sane, having the resources, and a great network of people. My perfectionist ways and imposter syndrome have definitely gotten in the way. I’ll also have to add that having anxiety is no joke and can really be detrimental if you let. I have let anxiety, comparison (social media), and the feeling of not having enough time on Earth; to accomplish the desires of my heart, slow me down. I’ll admit, I have chased the wrongs things, opportunities, and people; that have delayed the blessings God wants me to have. Getting in your own way and self-sabotage, has caused me to work even harder for things I deserve in this lifetime. The older I get I make sure that I work smarter not harder. I am still a work in progress, and I appreciate that I’ve grown to understand my flaws and what I need to work on. I know better, so I must do better.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
It was just depends on the person. I am definitely the friend that everyone contacts when they are planning a trip to Dallas. I’ve only been here for seven years and I definitely have some favorites in the city. However, every day there is a new restaurant, a new bar, a new lounge, a new family fun venue that opens in Dallas. I do believe that Dallas will be the biggest metroplex in the countryI do believe that Dallas will be the biggest metroplex in the country sooner than later. I’m all about good vibes and chill lounges. Sometimes it can definitely be overwhelming living in Dallas because there’s so much to do. But for the sake of the article, I would take my friend to have dinner in downtown Dallas at North Italia, we would go get drinks at the clover club in Arlington, then go hang out and see the sites in Frisco at the Star. In my opinion, every suburban area in the Dallas metroplex has its own fun for the residents to enjoy. And the excitement for me is just exploring all of them.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would have to first give credit to my heavenly Father. I thank him for continuing to give me strength to never give up, keeping me sane and surrounding me with amazing people. I have been blessed with an amazing support system within my family, loving friends, co-workers, my man and a great church leaders. I am also thankful for all that I have endured that has made me into the woman I am today, all the while striving daily, to be better.
