We had the good fortune of connecting with Connor Mullen and Ryan Ruth and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Connor and Ryan, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
– Having the privilege to choose how and when we work

– Getting the satisfaction of seeing our work start with an idea, then from raw pictures & video to the finished product.

– Things stay fresh and interesting one project at a time, where each is different and challenging in its own unique way.

-constantly progressing and getting better at what we do, seeing our older work compared to new work and seeing how far we’ve come.

-Getting to meet new people & clients constantly in a vast array of environments & professions.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
At VIBEMedia we strive to present every client with the highest quality of services while maintaining a competitive cost with others in our field. We make sure to match and create the VIBE our clients are looking for with every detail in mind. ​VIBE Media was founded by two best friends with the goal to provide clients with a refreshingly new perspective on Media Production. We are based and primarily operate in the Dallas Ft. Worth area. We formulated our business plan back in high school with the plan to move in after graduation and get started. We have both always been fascinated with cameras, gear, and production and knew we wanted to pursue that, as well as owning our own company. Our biggest challenges have mostly been gaining a name for ourselves and gathering clients, we found our niche in Real Estate and since then have gained more traction over the past year.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
As photographers, and creatives we enjoy going places in nature or scenery where we can capture the moment with a photo, with that in mind we would ideally take a walk downtown, through museums, through a forest or really anything that looks interesting and will allow us to let loose and enjoy our craft. We often have meetings and work on business strategy and marketing at Starbucks. And we love to eat at Sub Hub in Denton. We spend a lot of time editing our projects and both have productive setups for our work at home.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?

Teresa was our first Real Estate client, she took the risk of hiring young inexperienced photographers and gave us the perfect environment to learn and grow as creatives. She saw what we were capable of and knew the potential we had and didn’t let our age or lack of experience get in the way. To this day she is still one of our top clients, and we love the relationship we have with her, and her team 🙂

Patty is one of the most outgoing and cheerful personalities we have come across not only as a business, but in our own separate lives. She is so fun to work with, and has given us many opportunities to create content for her & her team. After first meeting her, she didn’t think twice before instantly jumping on the idea of us creating a video about her job as a realtor.
