We had the good fortune of connecting with Christina and Chad Jimmerson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Christina and Chad, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
“If nothing changes, nothing changes”, from the book Traction by Gino Wickman.

This quote stood out to us for its simple yet profound meaning. The moment these words sunk in, it catapulted our drive and ambitions even further. We felt more aligned with change vs seeing it as a inhibiting factor. In anyone’s reality there are changes that occur any given moment, and for us… riding the waves is much more enjoyable and fruitful. We are optimizing our growth by observing and acting on the industry. We welcome the beauty that change can bring!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Evolution Hemp was founded in September of 2019, and although it may not sound long ago to others it has been quite the journey for us. Might I add, a journey of utter joy that we had the opportunity to bring a dream to fruition. Chad and I both have a personality for success; we crave new adventures often. We enjoy being an active part in our success, while continuing a healthy work life balance. It is not unusual for us to indulge in a cbd joint by our pool in the happy place, and chat about wild ideas. It is the way we connect our minds with our world around us and one another as a couple. Owning a CBD brand, and possibly our own farm has been on our discussion board for years.

Our brand is unique in a sea of others because of the integrity we hold our products to. We offer a compact selection of essential tools for your natural medicine cabinet. All of our products are lab tested, high quality CBD extracted with CO2 technology. All cbd products are not created equal, and providing a lab test is crucial to understanding what is in your product just as you would look at labels at the supermarket. Hemp is a bio-accumulator, meaning it naturally absorbs toxins from the soil. This raises the risk for the presence of heavy metals, or pesticides. The supplements that we choose live up to our standards we set for the food that we put into our bodies, as they should. We lead a holistic lifestyle that is everchanging as we always ask questions and press forward encouraging others to do so alongside us.

Arriving to this destination in our business was neither hard nor easy; but every moment was worth the fight. We stumbled on an opportunity, jumped over a few hurdles, and climbed a few mountains to stand here with you today. We are grateful in our community which keeps us going, even when the going gets tough. Overcoming challenges will look different for everyone, but by visualizing your best outcome you set your mind to achieving it. If we have learned any lesson, it circles back to the quote, “If nothing changes, nothing changes”. If you are comfortable and complacent, your goals will feel comfortable. If you are daring, and challenge yourself to do more while still balancing your inner peace, what can stop you? Bravery, usually a physical act, has been more prevalent in this adventure than any. We take risks by diving into the cannabis world in general, as it can be such a gray area in some states. Make the post, Express your art, Talk to that stranger- just do it! A wise friend told us, that if you take a long time to make one decision, yet I make 12 decisions in that time frame and half of mine fail, I am still 6 steps ahead. I think of the childhood game where you may/may not be slid back to the very beginning, but you also might be thrown to the finish line!

We are excited for tomorrow! Everyday is a new chance to whoa the world, or to make a difference in even one person’s well being.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
An ideal itinerary would include the outdoors, family, a body of water, or music.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to give a shoutout to my dad, Kory Jimmerson. After two years of battling pancreatic cancer, he lost his battle but not without his famous smile and wacky sense of humor. A man who could make a joke while in his last days was an inspiration in itself. It shows that even in the toughest and darkest of times, there can be light. It’s just up to you if you will pull the curtain back or not. When he got sick it really put a lot of things into perspective for me. It made me appreciate life a little more and the limited time that we have with this life. He also helped me see what it takes to be a great dad! So I created my philosophy to lead by example for my daughters. For me, that means going after your dreams, setting goals achieving those goals then making even bigger goals. It is easy to be distracted or held back by any preconceived stigmas or lack of knowledge, so here we are. Busting down walls, living in the shadows of those who have stood up before we had the chance. Life truly is on borrowed time, make yours count.
