We had the good fortune of connecting with Chris Wander and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chris, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
One of our six core values is “make it count.”
The most important thing we have in our lives is our time. Time is the one thing you can never get more of. And that’s why we have to be deliberate with our time and make it count in both our professional lives, and personal.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Started storm restoration in 2016 after spending many years in the food service industry. I had a lot of guidance from many and took their advice and implemented it into my own way. Nothing was easy about creating a pipeline of referral partners to where my phone rings when someone needs help. DFW is one of the most competitive markets in the country. By taking time with the potential clients and showing the value of using a company like RRNTX, I have been able to overcome many of my competitors lack of professionalism and shady tactics.
I have learned that if you treat ever home like it’s your home and asking myself what I would do to fix it? Along with the mindset of homeowners are not a paycheck, they are a person who needs my help. This is a key to my success.
I want the world to know that there are still good people out there with a kind heart and this is my purpose in this life. To help people who don’t know how to or can’t help themselves

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love to Golf so maybe somewhere in Mexico or Hawaii. I have 2 very young children so my wife and I don’t get out much.
One day…

Maybe a private concert or some skydiving. Something on the beach or in the mountains in Spring-Summer

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to recognize my oldest mentor Brad Sander and Clint Miller. Brad is the owner of Triumph Roofing and got me into storm restoration business. He taught me a lot and made sure I had the training and tools to be successful. Clint Miller actually mentored me on a professional and personal level.
Ben Burgess (owner) Mark Freeman (founder) of Restoration Roofing NTX also is instrumental to my daily success and supply me with anything and everything I need to be the best I can.
