We had the good fortune of connecting with Chris Pacsi and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chris, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
I believe the number one habit for success is consistency. Continually showing up, even on days when effort or execution falls short, is what ultimately leads to success. There will be times when results seem like failure, but staying consistent—whether through learning from setbacks or committing to the small daily actions—builds the foundation for achievement. Success isn’t about perfection; it’s about persistent progress. The habit of moving forward, no matter how small the steps, is what truly makes the difference.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
As both a Realtor in Dallas, TX, and an NCAA Division I basketball referee, I’ve found that the skills and lessons from one career often strengthen the other, driving my growth and success.

I moved to Dallas in 2017 from Pittsburgh while officiating for the NBA’s G-League program. In the 2018 offseason, my then-fiancée (now wife) and I bought a historic home in Dallas. With little knowledge of real estate or remodeling, I took on a full gut renovation—during the hottest summer in Dallas in a decade. We lived in that house without a bathroom, showering and using a nearby gym for necessities. There was no HVAC, no plumbing, and a long list of challenges, but through that experience, I gained invaluable knowledge. I realized I could use what I learned to help others navigate their real estate journeys, which led me to earn my real estate license.

In the spring of 2019, I launched my real estate business while transitioning full-time to NCAA Division I men’s basketball officiating. Over the years, I’ve experienced both success and failure, but one thing has remained constant—consistency is the key to growth and development.

If there’s one thing I want people to know about me and my brand, it’s my authenticity. We may not always see eye to eye, but my integrity never wavers. In real estate, I’m committed to getting the best results for my clients. On the court, I strive to serve the game, the players, and the coaches with fairness and respect.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If I’m being honest, my wife and I love hosting parties at our place—we invite as many people as we can, fire up the grill, pack a couple of coolers, and let the kids run around while we all cool off in the pool.

Beyond that, there are a few must-visit spots around the city. Katy Trail Icehouse is always a go-to, and if the Mavs or Stars are in town, you can bet we’d catch a game at the American Airlines Center, with a pregame and postgame stop at Happiest Hour. I’m big into golf, so you’d probably find us at one of the local clubs or a top public course like The Rangers or The Tribute. And at some point, we’d definitely make a trip to Elm Fork to do some shooting. Coming from the Northeast, I’ve fully embraced Texas culture—and that includes a love for the shooting range.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are plenty of people and factors that have played a role in my success, but above all, I owe the most to my wife Brittany. She’s been the backbone of my growth—not just in my career, but in every part of my life. Her tough love, unwavering support, and belief in me, even when I doubted myself, have pushed me to be a better man—husband, father, son, and leader. Without her, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
