Meet Choyce Cincere | Singer & Model

We had the good fortune of connecting with Choyce Cincere and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Choyce, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was first understanding what a brand is and what it means to be a brand. Secondly, how I could establish my own brand as a creative and finally, finding the tools and r sources to cultivate my brand.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I would say what often sets me apart from others is that when it comes to my music I use my diversity and drummer background to my fullest advantage.

Having a versatile ear for music and natural ability to construct different cadences and Melodie’s within a variety of frequencies ranging from rnb, pop or rap is my advantage to having a diverse fan base. My experiences in the music industry are what I’m most proud of. Having the opportunity to learn and pursue the works as a musician, songwriter, music producer, artist, manager, and A&R.

Each role allowed me to learn multiple aspects of the business. I am most excited about my transition into acting and modeling because as an artist it’s something I’ve truly wanted to do ever since I was a child. The experiences I’ve gone through so far have been very hard of course, anytime you’re trying to break into a new realm. I managed to overcome challenges by seeking advice and learning from mistakes while remaining consistent and being reliable to others.

Lessons I’ve learned along the way is that relationships are everything and so it’s so important to maintain relationships. What I want people to know about my story is that like me everyone has a purpose and so I want to use my journey to inspire others to find their purpose in life.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would say definitely the beach! Checking my out all of the variety of restaurants the city has because it’s one of the best places to eat great food! Hitting the bars and clubs in the area with a group of friends.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to give a huge shoutout to my Mother and grandma for the consistent support, shoutout to Compton Legend OG Cuicide, Kanye West, Nipsey Hussle, Usher and Ed Lefkowitz for all of the inspiration, advice and motivation to become self sufficient.
