We had the good fortune of connecting with Choc Craver and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Choc, how do you think about risk?
I believe that risks and entrepreneurship are a packaged deal. Risks have played a pivotal role in my life & career. Every pinnacle that I’ve ever reached required a leap of faith.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I have been waxing since 2019. My wax room is a safe place for everyone who enters & that has grown my business far greater than any marketing strategy I’ve ever learned.
We are currently rebranding to include healing & mental wellness in our mission and I couldn’t be more excited to make an impact both internally and externally.
This road has been anything and everything besides “easy”. I’ve beaten the odds by prioritizing my mental health, practicing self-care & giving myself grace and compassion.
The greatest lesson that I’ve learned is to enjoy the journey. We cannot dwell on the past (that causes depression) or rush into the future (that causes anxiety), we must redirect our attention to where we are in that very moment and embrace it—no matter the circumstances.
I want The Choc Factory to be known for helping women, especially mothers, become their highest self, reach their fullest potential & thrive.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would definitely start the first day off with brunch at Spatch in Addison, Mimosas anyone? If there was a good NBA or NFL game on, we’d leave Spatch and head 2 minutes down Beltline to Sidecar-Addison and catch the game. Both spots have great culture, music and drinks!
Klyde-Warren is perfect for a morning walk (weekdays) or evening walk (weekends) & good eats.
As for nightlife, you can never go wrong at The Star in Frisco. There are so many bars & restaurants to choose from. The Virgin hotel also has a private rooftop pool, bar & lounge that is always a vibe! The drinks are pretty strong & the calamari is the best hands down. Speaking of best, you’ve NEVER had a seafood boil until you’ve eaten at Red Claw. Oh my God! Thank me later.
Lastly, we would spend a couple evenings watching the sun set at Sunset Bay in White Rock Lake. Being surrounded by nature, beautiful ducks, hearing the ebb & flow of the water’s ripples and witnessing the pinkish-orange sky transition into nightfall is one of the most tranquil and serene experiences Dallas has to offer.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
GOD, J.Cole, Eric Thomas, Sarah Jakes Roberts & Jen Sincero books have all help me get to where I am today.
