We had the good fortune of connecting with Chloe Walker and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chloe, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
This was a spin off of the talk show me and my best friend had in 2020. With Clo’s Pick I wanted to focus on one thing at a time. I chose to start with interviews in the music industry , first because I’m trying to do everything within my power to help propel my artist Mrbaccatit and second because there is so much talent out here but it gets overlooked often because of the over-saturation in the DFW area. Lastly I want the serious artist to have a interview that they can add to their EPK. Oct 22nd will mark my 6th episode and that same week I will start the movie segment of Clo’s Pick when I cover the red carpet at the premiere of Duuby Bee’s The Diamond Texter.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
To me Clo’s Pick is my voice and I just want my voice to make a difference for myself and others. It’s still fairly new so the numbers aren’t there yet but looking forward I’m excited that this will be a show that gives the people , businesses and movies the recognition they deserve. The biggest challenge for me personally is to get past the perfectionist in me, to be honest I still haven’t , I am my biggest critic but I’m just learning to use that constructively. Another would be that fact that by episode 2 I already had artists with massive followings personally reaching out based on my energy and the quality of the recording (shout out ADG LLC – Travis Mitchell ) but their management didn’t see enough numbers on my end, I’m still working on that but I have marketing ideas that will get me more numbers. The greatest lesson I’d say I’ve learned so far is just do it and make it better along the way. Some many people don’t start because it doesn’t look like this , or doesn’t compare to that , but all those other things don’t have a YOU. I feel like that’s definitely a big thing that sets me apart , me , and I know that’s cliche, but anybody can do a interview , but can you bring the energy? can you adjust depending on who you’re talking to ? have you done as much research as you can ? And are you constantly looking to see how you can better your project? I want to world to know that soon I’ll be one of your favorite YouTube channels then your favorite show on TV!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
