We had the good fortune of connecting with Chaya Woolcock and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chaya, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
1. God first 2. Being teachable 3. Taking constructive criticism 4. Humility 5. Being open to new things

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’ve been a Speech-Language Pathologist for 15 years. I love what I do. I help children and adults to be able to communicate. It takes a lot of hard work, discipline, and patience to remain in this field. At the end of the day, it’s what’s best for my students/patients and how I can help them be successful with communication.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
With COVID precautions in place, definitely have to go to a Mavs game. I love to eat. So we’d go to a breakfast, lunch, and dinner spot. A trip to the Dallas Farmer’s Market. The Museum of Illusions would be a cool place to visit. To hang out and enjoy a nice view, either The Henry or The Happiest Hour would be nice to visit.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
