We had the good fortune of connecting with Chase Kloza and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chase, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Taking risks in acting is a necessity for success on and off the stage. Off stage you have to market yourself. What that means is getting out of your comfort zone and talking to people. For instance, I got onto a studios talent list by walking back in (after I was done shadowing a voice actor) and asked the receptionist to look at my demos. On stage you have to take risks so that you can build you character more. You have no clue what the audience will enjoy so you have to take risks and make bold decisions

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I started doing voice and acting when I was a junior in highschool and didn’t get serious until my freshman year in college. To set my self apart from others I will always try to use my humor to my advantage and never be afraid to ask questions. This helped a lot with networking and finding new things to audition for

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’d take them to Lake Grapevine. It’s a great place to hang out and is a really cool beach area to look for cool rocks and hangout. After I would take them to Chuys to grab a bite to eat so that they could try the jalapeño ranch and salsa chip dip.

Once that was over I’d finish by taking them to McDonald’s to get a dipped ice cream cone

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
For me someone that has always had a positive impact on my acting career is my friend Romeo. He has been my best friend since we were 4 and 5 years old and he would always entertain the acting games we grew up playing together
