We had the good fortune of connecting with Cedric Frazier and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cedric, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?

As a private chef, I have always enjoyed cooking and the art of entertaining. With over 20 years in the hospitality industry, it was time to transition and focus on what I love to do. In 2020, as a result of the pandemic, I pivoted from corporate America to my full-time Private Chef/Boutique Catering Business. There were challenges initially, especially after losing mother and father within two months of each other along with the stress of growing a new business.

The CF Experience is a traveling Private Chef/Boutique Catering service based in the Dallas-Fort Worth region.  I specialize in quality, superb service, and extravagant client dining experiences.  Through industry research, high profile client engagement, and working with various political figures, I elevated my focus of delicious food and creating memorable experiences with the ambience and innovative décor.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
“The Cedric Frazier Experience” is a private chef/boutique caterer that offers dining experiences with a twist. We use the freshest and locally sourced ingredients. Our aesthetics, table arrangements, and signature presentation of food creates an intimate experience that will allow clients to relax, rejuvenate, and reflect. “The Cedric Frazier Experience” meets the needs of the clients, therefore each menu is curated to their specific needs.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The DFW area is such an amazing city full of great food, adventures, shops, artistic views, museums, galleries and more. While I am still learning (exploring?) the city after my relocation in 2019, I enjoy eclectic areas such as “Deep Ellum”, The Frisco Star, Shops at Legacy (West?), and The Dallas Farmers Market. Some of my favorite go to restaurants are Hillstone, Drake’s, Truluck’s, Eddie V’s and Perry’s Steakhouse. Relocating from the east coast, I love and miss the water. With that said, one could never go wrong watching a sweet sunset on the Lake Ray Hubbard, Lewisville Lake, or Joe Pool Lake.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?

Without a doubt, I want to dedicate this shoutout to the memory of my mother, Joann Martino Frazier. On February 8, 2021, she passed from COVID complications. Since her passing, every day I make a conscious decision to honor her in some way with my work and daily activities.

A huge part of my success is due to her love and encouragement throughout my life. She always allowed me to be creative and rarely questioned my decisions for my next move in life. In most instances, her response would be, I am praying for you son that God’s will be done in your life. She would always follow up with Psalm 37:23, The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

She was an awesome woman of God, my biggest supporter, a confidant, and an amazing cook. I try to share her heart for humanity with others from a soulful place in the kitchen. Because of her support and sacrifices, “The Cedric Frazier Experience” is now a luxury in-home dining experience that brings a vibe to any setting like no other.
