We had the good fortune of connecting with Cat And Eddi Pinegar and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cat and Eddi, how does your business help the community?
At Mind Flowers Healing Arts, everything we do is centered on helping people reconnect with themselves and one another. We believe that individual healing naturally ripples outward — when people feel balanced, peaceful, and purposeful, they bring that same energy into their families, workplaces, and communities.

Through our classes, workshops, and online spaces, we offer tools for mindful living, emotional regulation, and embodied awareness. Our School of Yoga Lifestyle and Sacred Self communities provide a supportive environment where people can explore their inner landscape, develop self-care practices, and learn how to live in harmony with nature and with each other.

We’ve seen how even small shifts — a daily breath practice, a moment of self-compassion, a shared conversation — can create meaningful change. Our hope is that by nurturing awareness and kindness at the individual level, we’re contributing to a more compassionate, connected world.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Our art is in creating experiences that invite people to reconnect with themselves — through movement, touch, breath, stillness, and reflection. Mind Flowers Healing Arts grew from a shared devotion to living consciously and helping others cultivate harmony in body, mind, and spirit. Our work blends yoga, Ayurveda, Thai bodywork, sound, and energy medicine into an integrated approach to well-being.

What makes our work unique is the way we combine education with embodiment. Every class, workshop, and conversation is a co-creation — a chance to explore awareness, presence, and joyful living together. We believe learning is most powerful when it’s lived, practiced, and experienced in real life.

Our path has been one of continuous growth and evolution, shaped by curiosity and a love of learning. Each season of this work has deepened our understanding of connection and how beautifully people flourish when given the right tools and support.

We’re most grateful for the authenticity of the community that has blossomed around Mind Flowers Healing Arts. It’s a space where people come as they are, explore who they’re becoming, and remember how much beauty they already hold. What we hope the world knows about our work is that it’s rooted in love, awareness, and the belief that everyone has the capacity to live in balance and bloom in their own way.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We’d start with a visit to Mystic Mandala in Plano — one of our favorite community spaces for connection and creativity. It’s filled with warm, welcoming people and always seems to have something inspiring happening, from sound baths to conscious gatherings.

For lunch, we’d take them to Kalachandji’s, a beautiful vegetarian restaurant tucked inside a temple courtyard. The atmosphere is peaceful, and the food feels like it’s made with love — nourishing on every level.

Before the week is through, we’d make sure to experience Ecstatic Dance Dallas — an expressive, heart-opening evening of music and movement that always leaves everyone smiling and free. It’s one of those experiences that captures the spirit of community, joy, and embodiment that we value most.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We’ve been blessed with incredible teachers, mentors, and friends along the way. The journey that became Mind Flowers Healing Arts was shaped by so many people who shared their wisdom, encouragement, and belief in what we were creating.

We’re deeply grateful to our students and community — they inspire us daily with their honesty, curiosity, and commitment to growth. We also want to acknowledge the teachers and lineages of yoga, Ayurveda, Thai massage, and energy medicine that have guided our path with such depth and integrity.

Every person we’ve crossed paths with has left an imprint on this work, and we carry that gratitude into everything we share.
