We had the good fortune of connecting with Candyce Abbott and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Candyce, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
When I considered creating business, I wanted to create something that would benefit people and in general the world. I was raised using essential oils and I know how they can be beneficial to our health and well-being. I wanted to provide an alternate solution for skin sensitivities and add skin loving natural ingredients.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I have always been a creative and caring person, attempting to lend a hand at every opportunity, which I continue to do to this day.  I am very busy these days working my business full time but still spending quality time with my family. You can currently find LoveBugLuv products in the following locations: “Mosaic Makers Collective” in Bishop Arts-Dallas, “Green  Bodega” and  “Hurst Marketplace and Creative Center” both located in Hurst.  I can also be found at many pop-up events in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. There is also a LoveBugLuv website available to find your unwind.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Funny you ask me that question because my mom, who is also my friend, will be coming to visit shortly from California and I will be taking her to the Botanical Gardens, where we can just relax and take in the beauty of the gardens.  We will be going to grab a coffee at Brewed LTD in Bishop Arts, which is an amazing small business coffee shop that has a chill atmosphere and great customer service, not to mention delicious coffee. Next, we will be checking out the Water Lantern Festival, where we will decorate  lanterns, place them on the river all lit up and watch them float down the river along with hundreds of other people. My mom’s favorite food is Japanese, so we will absolutely  enjoy some at either Oyshi Sushi Grill or Akarii Revolving Sushi, both are phenomenal and create a memorable experience.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My beloved family, who have been my anchor throughout this journey. All of the precious moments of support from them have encouraged me to become the creator I am today and the stability to maintain my business as we reach the 2 year mark.
